Inspiring Outdoor Exploration.

My goal is to inspire people to explore the outdoors and do it with the right tools. It doesn’t matter if it’s a grand adventure, or your own backyard. I will share my adventures, knowledge and the gear I use to help people get outside.

This whole outdoor thing started at a very young age for me; I was camping with the family, then onto the Boy Scouts. I learned how much I enjoyed the outdoors and in 2005 I went on to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail. That hike was 2179 miles of glorious fun, excitement, struggles and triumph.

I can’t get enough and I continue to have outdoor adventures on a regular basis. This is my place to share that excitement and experience with you. (Like that time I too a wrong turn on a “short” trail run.)
